Purpose of FOSFRE Check

• Final check of the airplane before the plane departs the airport.
• Desire to accomplish close to the airport (within the pattern) so if anything is wrong you can quickly land the plane.

Common Errors

1. Fixation on one aspect of the inspection
2. Not looking around the engine, behind the airplane, or each wing tank.
3. Failure to vocalize each aspect of the inspection
4. Vocalizing the inspection after leaving the airport.
